Project: Dyson Hangar 86, Hullavington Airfield
Time Scale: November 2017 – February 2018
Converting wartime hangars at the former RAF Hullavington into offices and workshops as part of Dyson’s ambitious plans to build a 500-acre technology campus.
The new tech facility will be located close to Dyson’s existing Malmesbury headquarters. It forms part of the company’s plans to invest £2.5bn into future technologies and the doubling of its workforce to about 7,000 over the next six years.
Sceptre will be installing 2013x CAT6a Commscope Data outlets into the newly refurbished hangar combined with 8 × 12 core OM4 Blown Fibre Links from the Data centre to the four edge comms locations.
