Wi-Fi Design
Sceptre Networking have all the tools for designing, deploying and maintaining Wi-Fi networks. We are able to design for Cisco, Aruba, Aerohive, Xirrus and many more.
Our site surveys ensure high performance capacity (BYOD) for any Wi-Fi network. If a Wi-Fi network is not yet in place, we can suggest access point placement and configuration for optimal set-up. For networks already in place, we can provide a quick and easy site survey, performance and capacity analysis, optimisation and troubleshooting.
Site Survey & Planning
Sceptre can help you to plan and create a Wi-Fi network according to your performance and capacity requirements, taking into consideration the increasing amount of wireless clients and applications such as VoIP, HD video streaming and web browsing.
Our surveys support 802.11ac as well as 802.11a/b/g/n and works with any 802.11 network. It also supports multiple buildings and thousands of access points per project.
During a single quick walk through, Sceptre can collect active survey, passive survey and spectrum analysis information. Once walk through is complete Sceptre can provide maps showing the network coverage and connectivity. It can also discover all the audible access points and automatically locate them. Both pre-deployment and post- deployment surveys are fully supported.
Optimise, Troubleshoot and Simulate
Sceptre can help identify and fix Wi-Fi network issues such as miss-configured access points, undetected rouge access points, missing SSIDs and security settings, throughput problems, interference problems, signal leakage and coverage holes. Advanced simulation capabilities allow us to create “what if” scenarios, such as moving or replacing access points, increasing network load or increasing the number of devices in the network.
Sceptre can provide two main methods of troubleshooting: On the spot troubleshooting, where the network is tested and analysed in real time, and post-survey troubleshooting, where users will see the issues and their impact on a map.
