Celebrating 30 Years of SceptreNet

This year, 2026, marked a very special milestone for SceptreNet as we celebrated 30 years in business, alongside the official opening of our newly refurbished office in Somerton, Somerset. We welcomed clients, suppliers, partners, colleagues and friends to join us for an afternoon and evening of live music, food, drinks and celebrations. More importantly, it gave us the opportunity to bring together many of the people who have supported SceptreNet over the last three decades and say thank you.

Celebrating 30 Years in Business

SceptreNet was established in Somerton 30 years ago as a family-built business. Since then, we have grown considerably, but Somerset remains our home. Today, we deliver structured cabling, network infrastructure, wireless solutions, data centre solutions and IT infrastructure services for organisations across the UK. From complex copper and fibre optic cabling installations to complete network infrastructure projects, our focus has always been on delivering reliable solutions and building long-standing relationships with our clients. Our anniversary was a chance to reflect on how far the business has come, recognise the contribution of our team and celebrate the relationships that have helped shape SceptreNet.

Officially Opening Our Newly Refurbished Office

The event also marked the official opening of our newly refurbished Somerton office. The transformation has created a modern new working environment for our growing team and represents another investment in the future of SceptreNet. During the afternoon, Managing Director David Benning welcomed our guests and officially marked both our 30th anniversary and the opening of the new space. After months of planning and work behind the scenes, it was fantastic to finally open the doors and share the finished office with our clients, partners and suppliers. A huge thank you goes to everyone involved in the refurbishment, including the designers, contractors and trades who helped bring the project to life.

Celebrating Our Partnership with CommScope

We were also delighted to mark another important achievement during our anniversary celebrations. As a CommScope Premier Solution Provider, SceptreNet was presented with our SYSTIMAX Installer Certification and a special 30th Anniversary Award. We would like to thank Adrian, Rob and the wider CommScope team for their continued support and partnership. Relationships with leading manufacturers such as CommScope allow us to provide our clients with high-quality, manufacturer-backed network infrastructure solutions and are an important part of the service SceptreNet has built its reputation on.
