Army Basing Programme – Junior Ranks’ Single Living Accommodation

Duchess Building – Musgrove Park Hospital

Wireless Project – University of Southampton
The University of Southampton selected Sceptre Networking to assist with the upgrade of their wireless service in the Hartley Library Building as part of a pilot scheme to demonstrate a valid process for design, installation and assurance of an upgraded wireless system.

4 East South – University of Bath
Sceptre Networking have been awarded 1300 x CAT7 FFTP data outlets for the new state of the art Architecture and IT facility.
South Wiltshire UTC Network and Wireless Infrastructure
Sceptre Networking were awarded the project to install a new wired and wireless HP Network at South Wilts UTC. The wired network consisted of a HP 5412 v2 zl2 Core switch (consisting of 160 1Gb ports) linked to HP 5412 v2 zl 2 Edge switch (256 1Gb ports) and HP 5406 v2 zl2 Edge switch (64 1Gb ports). The edge switches were connected back to the Core switch via 10Gb links. Sceptre Networking configured.
Cubric Phase 2 Building – Cardiff University
Sceptre Networking have been awarded 1000 x CAT7 FFTP data outlets for the new state of the art Cubric MRI research facility at the University of Cardiff.
RAF Lyneham – Training Building 2204
To design and install 1450 x TE Connectivity CAT 5e Data outlets to meet the proposed CIS Installation requirements for this flagship ‘H Shaped’ Building. This design includes the installation of all fibre optic cabling to interconnect 7 separate remote buildings.
College House – Cardiff University
Sceptre successfully supplied and installed 2 new underground 4 inch IT ducts following agreed routes with the University and the local council. We then installed 2 new OS2 single mode fibre links – estimated distance 1200m to the Henry Welcome Building and Cardigan House.
Centre of Arts – University of Bath
Sceptre Networking have successfully installed 600 x CAT7 FFTP data outlets for the new state of the art Visual Gallery opening in 2015 for the University of Bath. Along with 2 diverse single mode Blown Fibre links for the two new comms locations. As always our engineers worked closely with the Main contractor to complete this project in a timely manner.
The Jigsaw Building – Royal Bournemouth Hospital
The Jigsaw Building is a brand new purpose built building that will bring together oncology, haematology, gynaecology and breast care, as well as providing more space for the outpatients and day care treatments. Sceptre Networking will be providing 650 TE Connectivity CAT5e UTP outlets to serve the new state of the art facility. Two diverse blown fibre links will also be installed to serve the new communications cabinets.
1 West – University of Bath
Sceptre Networking successfully installed 1200 x CAT7 FFTP data outlets for the new 1 West Building Phase 1 and 2. Along with 2 diverse single mode Blown Fibre links for the two new comms locations. As always our Project Managers and Engineers worked closely with the Main contractor and client to complete this project in a timely manner with customer satisfaction.
Cheltenham Racecourse – WIFI Deployment
This project required a complete design and build as the existing infrastructure was not capable of supporting the new 10gig back bone required to support the latest Xirrus Wifi equipment and the amount of simultaneous users a sporting event such as the ‘Festival’ would demand.
RiLD – The University of Exeter
Sceptre installed 3200+ CAT6a TE connectivity / ADCKrone data outlets site wide. We worked alongside the M+E consultants and the Main contractor to design and deploy a Blown fibre network that far exceeded the proposed conventional fibre’s performance, resilience, scalability and flexibility.
